My skill set and experience has allowed me to work from home during this COVID pandemic. Surgical training the world over has been majorly impacted so making sure that this is mitigated is vital as prepare to live and work in a new world.
Since April 1st I’ve been conceiving, designing, building a brand new Surgical Virtual Learning Environment (SVLE) for trainees in the West Midlands. This project has grown from an initial target or approximately 100 surgical trainees to a target of 450 trainees across all surgical specialties.
We are currently running pilot studies into the capabilities (including webinars and online testing) with a view to launching over the coming months……… watch this space…..
